ألأمم ألمتحدة فى ظل ألإبادة ألجماعية للفلسطينيين United Nations under the Genocide of Palestinians
أقرت الأمم المتحدة اتفاقية تقضي بمنع جرائم الإبادة الجماعية ومعاقبة مرتكبيها في 9 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1948. (أ) قتل أعضاء الجماعة. (A) killing members of the group.
(ب) إلحاق الأذى الجسدي أو النفسي الخطير بأعضاء الجماعة. (B) causing serious bodily or mental harm to members group.
(ج) إلحاق الأضرار بالأوضاع المعيشية للجماعة بشكل متعمد بهدف التدمير الفعلي للجماعة كليًا أو جزئيًا. (C) causing damage to the living conditions of the group deliberately aimed at the actual destruction of the group in whole or in part.
(د) فرض إجراءات تهدف إلى منع المواليد داخل الجماعة. (D) imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group.
(هـ) نقل الأطفال بالإكراه من جماعة إلى أخرى. (E) forcibly transferring children from one group to another.
وفي الوقت الذي شهد فيه التاريخ العديد من الحالات التي يستهدف فيها العنف الجماعات المختلفة وحتى منذ بدء سريان الاتفاقية، تركز التطور الدولي والقانوني للمصطلح حول فترتين تاريخيتين بارزتين: الفترة الأولى وهي الفترة التي بدأت منذ صياغة المصطلح وحتى قبوله كقانون دولي (1944-1948) والفترة الثانية هي فترة تفعيله في ظل تأسيس المحاكم العسكرية الدولية للبت في جرائم الإبادة الجماعية (1991-1998).
